About Us

Dawn Farrow began this exciting and instrumental venture to help create a sense of support and community around the mass redundancies our community is currently being faced with. She created this hub to generate motivation for job seekers, providing you with useful tips and training, job alerts and IGTV interviews with industry leaders; she could no longer sit around as the industry she loves so much crumbles around us and this is her reaction.

About the founder

The Founder, Dawn Farrow Dawn Farrow is an accomplished businesswoman and entrepreneur who got the bug for working in live entertainment and events at the age of 4 with an oversized tutu wrapped around her ankles. She traveled to London from a farm in deepest Lincolnshire to train as a dancer but also (by her mother’s recommendation) studied Business.

By 2001, Dawn was officially the only professionally trained dancer with a business degree and set herself the goal of establishing her own marketing agency which she did in 2012 after working in various roles for Clear Channel Entertainment, David Ian, Liz Koops and aka (she even cleaned loos at a dance studio along the way!).

Boom Live (which combined two agencies; Boom Ents and Boom Sport) ran for 8 years, built a phenomenal team and had an enviable client base including Secret Cinema, Brighton Racecourse, Alice’s Adventures Underground, The Luna Cinema, Grand Designs Live, The Mousetrap, Birmingham Royal Ballet,Cage Warriors, Dear Zoo, Doctor Who, DS Techeetah Formula E, Nitro Circus.

By January 2020, it was time to chase the next dream and with a mix of fear and excitement she announced the closure of Boom Live. No one was to know that this was one of the best-timed business decisions she would ever make.

Dawn is mum to one small human, two furbabies (with intentions to build a rare breeds farm one day) and partner in crime with Duncan.

Her motivations? You’ve guessed it… dogs and coffee!
